Competitive mat fees

Club members benefit from reduced weekly training fees which we try to keep as low as possible for our members.

Non-members are welcome to paticipate, but we do charge a premium.

Great deals on Judo kit

Don’t buy your Judo suit until you’ve seen the great value kit we have for sale at the club!

Our 100% heavy-duty cotton Judo suits represent excellent quality and great value at exclusive low prices for our club members.

Subsidised competition fees

The club will contribute half of members’ entry fees to competitions which take place outside the club. So a competition that might cost £10.00 to enter only costs our members £5.00. In a time of ever-increasing competition entry fees, this club subsidy can represent a significant benefit to regular competitors.

We do ask players to reimburse the club’s contribution if they are unable to attend the event for whatever reason.

Book and video library

Take your training further by borrowing from our Judo library.

We have a range of popular Judo books and videos available which cover selected techniques in great depth.

We usually charge a small fee for borrowing these items, available exclusively to Hollesley Judo Club members.

Social activities

The annual Christmas party is definitely the highlight of most people’s year. The event also doubles as our awards ceremony where we recognise our players’ achievements in Judo during the previous year.

Amazingly, Santa always manages to find time in his busy schedule to put in an appearance!

Best of all: it’s free for members! Everyone brings a contribution of food and the bar prices are extremely reasonable!
